[Observer] This year December 24 is the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the Liberian civil war. Initially begun by the 'National Patriotic Front of Liberia' NPFL, the war was an attempt to 'liberate' Liberia from the brutal dictatorship of President Samuel Doe- a low ranking soldier who led a coup d'état against the government of President William R.
