South Africa: As Covid-19 Numbers Fall, Much Remains Uncertain

[spotlight] In its latest weekly mortality report, the South African Medical Research Council (MRC) estimates that there were around 44 400 excess natural deaths in South Africa since early May. It is not known how many of these deaths were due to COVID-19. Is it 30 000? 40 000?
