Tanzania: Opposition Party Chadema Opts Out of Local Govt Polls

    [Citizen] Dar es Salaam/ Dodoma -Opposition party, Chadema, announced its withdrawal from the forthcoming local government elections, citing massive disqualification of the party's candidates as the main reason. The elections are scheduled for November 24, this year.
