Uganda: Why Uganda Has Suspended Hundreds of Refugee Aid Agencies

    [The Conversation Africa] The Ugandan government recently suspended the operations of 208 refugee aid organisations. The organisations were suspended over non-compliance with Ugandan regulations. Only 69 aid agencies are now authorised to assist Uganda's 1.4 million refugees. Uganda has a recent history of tensions with refugee aid organisations.
